Can anyone become a Local Captain?
Users can apply. No2Wait reviews applications before showing profiles publicly.
What details are public?
Display name, photo, languages, known places, short bio, Local Captain type, rating, and completed trip history.
What details are private?
Contact details, documents, internal notes, and verification details.
Can I report a Local Captain?
Yes. Users can report unsafe, misleading, or inappropriate behavior from an assigned trip or public profile.
Is this feature optional?
Yes. Local Captain support is optional unless a specific No2Wait trip clearly mentions a Local Captain.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. There is no application fee, no subscription, and no minimum number of trips.
How does a Local Captain get paid?
Paid trip support isn't live yet, so nothing is charged or paid out at this time. Once it is: per completed trip, No2Wait sets the price, the traveller pays No2Wait, and No2Wait pays the Local Captain the service amount less the platform fee and any processing charges and taxes. The figures are shown in the app before a request is accepted, and the amount is fixed once it is.
When does the money arrive?
A payout is raised when trip support is marked complete and held for a short review window before release. It is held longer for a person to check if the traveller's payment has not settled, if a low rating is left, or if a safety report is open.
Does a bad rating reduce what I earn?
Not by itself. A low rating puts the payout in front of our team rather than cutting it automatically, because a rating can reflect weather, other travellers, or taste.
Am I employed by No2Wait?
No. Local Captains are independent individuals responsible for their own taxes, registrations, insurance, and any licences their activity requires. No2Wait does not guarantee any volume of requests or level of earnings.
How do I give my bank details?
In the app, on the Earnings screen, once your application is verified. You can use a bank account or a UPI ID, and you can change it any time.
Does No2Wait store my bank account number?
No. Your details are sent to our payments provider, which returns a reference to the account. We keep that reference, your bank code and the last four digits - enough to show you which account you picked, and not enough to move money with. The account number is not stored anywhere at No2Wait.
How does a traveller pay?
Right now, trip support is free and travellers aren't asked to pay anything. Once online payment is enabled, it will be through our payments provider's own secure page, by UPI, card or netbanking - card numbers and UPI credentials entered there, not in the No2Wait app, and never seen or stored by No2Wait.
